The parts of Temaki-sushi(hand-rolled sushi)

Last night, we ate Temaki-sushi(hand-rolled sushi) in my house.
The way to make Temaki-sushi is very easy for everyone, but
It would be difficult to do ti in the other countries without Japan.
It's because that eating raw fishes has possibility to lhave
a person be damaged by some bacteria in general.
However, There are many professional workers dealing with
raw fishes (to make Sashime) in Japan. They take care of preventing
customers from falling infectious disease.
As a result, Japanese can eat delicious Sashime.

I'd like to introduce how we make Temaki-sushi.
This is my family's style. Maybe, there are millions of
the way to make it in Japan.

Rice seasoned with vinegar, sugar and salt, used for preparing sushi

The central Tokyo has two parts; high land and low land.

Last my article, I wrote about the Kanda river.
Today, I'd like to writing the undulation in central Tokyo.
The below image is that.
brown color indicates high lands(20-40m from sea level)
blue do low land(minus - 20m from sea level)
The empire's palace is located in the center of this image.
You can see that Tokyo has developed around the palace.
The Kanda river flows upper part in this picture
(from left to right).

During the Edo era(AD 1600- 1868),
There were several classes there.
The typical groups were Bushi(samuraia warrior) and
Syo-nin(merchant).
Bushi tended to live in the high land, and
Syo-nin tended to live in the low land.
That's because the low land was attacked by
many floods.
That is, segregation by class were present in that time.

Thinking about necessity of the nuclear power plant in the world

Today, I'll describe that my opinion for operation of
nuclear power plants. I'm against the operation of them.

In old days, people believed that the nuclear power plants
could make huge energy cheaper than current power plants.

However, Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station was broken
by the Great East Japan earthquake (March 11, 2011).
Japan has a big negative heritage in Fukushima.
The Japanese government is spending a lot of money
to restore disaster areas.

The Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station is called
as Mark 1 made by GE company, that's so old.

I think an up-to-dated nuclear generator with safety
equipment should be able to avoid a large-scaled disaster.
Therefore,I don't want to mention about technical issues.

I want to reject to operate nuclear power plant from the
economical viewpoint.

Nowadays, several types of power generation way are
compared as the economical issues.

I found below graph on Wikipedia.
(This article doesn't have Japanese version)

I can see the way of nuclear power generation as expensive way of generating energy.
Recently,  sometimes I find some articles that have same way of thinking.
Especially, radioactive wast is the worst poison for all living things.
Human-being can't find the way of detoxification of it.

The strange outlook of The Kanda river

Following yesterday, I'd like to write about
the route of the Kanda river.
I put an another angle of 3D map picture below.
The Kanda, which flows from left side to right, is drawn in blue.
The brown part is higher than green part.
It's easy to see how strange the Kanda route is.
You can see the Tokyo Dome in upper left in this picture.
Tokyo Dome is located nearby such a wonder undulation.

useful 3D software

I'll continue to write about the Kanda river.
I have a 3D map software in my computer.
It can describe an undulation on a land from
calculation from a altitude date.
I'll try to compare between the real photos and
the generated 3D photos.

Photo 1. The real scene:
There are a hill there, and the Kanda river penetrates
the hill.

Photo 2. Close to the river.
You can see big walls laid at both shores.
Photo 3. the generated 3D photo
The center blue line shows the Kanda river.
The upper side of this photo is the downstream direction.
The green area is lower altitude than the brawn area.
The Kanda river goes through the hill, it appears unnatural
because it would be easy to follow to turn left, going to lower land.

What a deep forest there is in central Tokyo!

When I walked around along the Kanda river on last Sunday,
I saw a big forest by the river. The fact gave me a little surprise.
It's because I imaged there are only buildings and roads.
(I grew up in a local area in Japan, so I don't know a detail
of the geometrical future in the central Tokyo district).
The central Tokyo has two parts; the mountains side and
the flat sea-level side.
Each side has a individual history from the EDO era to now.
This forest is located in the mountain side. I recognize
Tokyo still remains green in shrines, temples and parks.

(attention: "the central Tokyo" is defined as inside annular JR line,
 Yamanote line by me)

I ate a tasty cake.

Last Sunday, we went to a cake shop.
I chose this pudding cake, which have fleshy fruits,
such as some strawberries, kiwis, blueberries.
I like to eat a kind of fruitcakes, because
without fruit, it would be so sweet that
I can hardly eat it completely.
When I was single, I seldom ate cakes, however,
recently, I have eaten a kind of cakes almost
once a week. it seems to be unbelievable to me.

The final distinction: the Kanda myoujon shrine

The Kanda myoujin was  my finale destination of the trip on last Saturday.

The shrine is located on the border between
uptown and downtown at that time(Edo era).

The Kanda myoujin is located nearby the Ochanomizu Sta at JR line
in the central Tokyo.
The entrance, which is magnificence.

The Confucius statue
