a rare food

The figure of growing wild
I spent my holidays in my country town where is located in Nagano prefecture, central part of Japan main-land. People who live there have  the habit of eating the fiddlehead orstrich fern ("Kogomi" as Japanese name). Kogomi is adequate for boiled dish or tempura. I have felt that spring has come when I eat the dish of Kogomi.
